Sandra Beck was born in a small town outside of Buffalo, New York.  She attended Northwestern University and earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and her Master’s Degree in Advertising.

The mission of the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron Blue Angels is to showcase the pride and professionalism of the United States Navy and Marine Corps by inspiring a culture of excellence and service to country through flight demonstrations and community outreach.

In August of 2013, YNC Angela Gingerich was chosen to be a part of the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels). Here she leads the Administrative department and also mentors over 113 Sailors. Her awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (8) , Meritorious Unit Commendation, National Defense Service Medal (2nd), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal , and other units and personnel awards.

Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class(AW) Andrea Perez reported to the Blue Angels in October 2013.  She earned her Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist insignia in February 2015. Her decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism, and various personal awards.
