Cristina Pineda is Co-Founder and Executive Matchmaker at Matchmakers In The City. After studying at Oxford University, Conti achieved her Master's degree.  A Matchmaking Institute Certified Matchmaker and member of the Board of Advisors for the Dating Experts Bureau, Cristina has worked with thousands of clients. Cristina was introduced to her husband by her sister and co-founder, Alessandra, got married herself in April 2017, and is enjoying life as a newly-wed! More here.

Penrose Halson was 25 and still unmarried, her mother sent her to the Katharine Allen Marriage & Advice Bureau.  Twenty years later, after a career in teaching, writing and editing, she and her management consultant husband Bill took over that same Bureau. They additionally acquired The Marriage Bureau, which had been set up in 1939 by two 24-year-olds.  As Bill had predicted, matchmaking suited Penrose down to the ground, and they remain happily in touch with many former clients who visit them in London.
