Success Profiles Radio 07/19/21 show

John Niland was this week's guest on Success Profiles Radio. He is a former offensive guard who played in the NFL for the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles. He was a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro. He was drafted fifth overall in the 1966 draft, played in the famous Ice Bowl game, and was a member of the team that won the Super Bowl following the 1971 season.

We discussed the mindset that it takes to become a pro athlete, the training and conditioning regiment that he followed, what it was like playing for legendary coach Tom Landry, and playing in front of legendary quarterback Roger Staubach.

In addition, we discussed leadership and culture within the Cowboys organization, what it was like playing in a Super Bowl and winning it, advice for younger players coming up, and dealing with life after his sports career ended.

Finally, we discussed gratitude, the importance of his faith, why people are afraid of asking for what they want, and much more. You can hear the show on iTunes or at https://toginet.com/shows/successprofilesradio
