Success Profiles Radio 09/23/19 show

Jim Stavis was this week's guest on Success Profiles Radio. He is the author of the book, "When Hope Is Your Only Option". He was diagnosed with juvenile type 1 diabetes when he was 17, and eventually needed a triple organ transplant of his heart, kidneys, and pancreas. Triple organ transplants are extremely rare.

We discussed the three stages of dealing with adversity, the importance of gratitude, where he finds the blessing from his medical situation, what gives him hope, and overcoming self-limiting beliefs.

In addition, we discussed his relationship with the donor's family, dealing with the death of his business partner, and the wisdom of having a contingency plan when in a business partnership. We also talked about a documentary film he made called "Source of Hope" which chronicles his journey and how his life intertwined with his donor's family. We also discussed the promotion and awards that happened along the way.

Finally, we discussed his speaking career, his first speaking gig, and so much more. You can subscribe to the show on iTunes. You can also listen to any episode at https://toginet.com/shows/successprofilesradio
